Prototype reference: The prototype demonstrates the pin gallery, showcase section, and pin earning cascade across all three episodes. EP3 specifically shows region master + genre legend pin unlocks with frame/background rewards.

Purpose & Context

The Pin Collection provides a trophy case showcasing milestone achievements. Unlike the taste profile (which answers “who am I?”), the pin collection answers “what have I accomplished?”

Design Philosophy: Genre-first organization matches user mental model. Showcase section enables pride/sharing moments.

Scope: 132 total milestone pins across 6 genres + system-wide achievements.

Location: Pins tab within Atlas overlay (accessed from My Lists), alongside Map and Legend tabs. When new pins are earned, a pip appears on the Pins tab (see Section 6.7 for pip cascade behavior).

1. Showcase Section

Users pin their favorite pin to feature at the top of Pin Collection, creating a shareable moment.
